ORDERED,
THAT the attached petition from the Bangor Target Area
Development Corporation requesting a study to determine the
cost of extending the existing 8. inch sanitary sewer on Dowd
Road in an easterly direction to provide City sewer service
for Lots No. 1, 2 and 3 be and hereby. is accepted; and be it
further
ORDERED,
THAT the City Engineer conduct the necessary surveys,
prepare Plans and Cost Estimates, together with a list of
possible assessmentsfor said sewer extension and report his
findings to the City Conseil for further action.
STATEMENT OF FACT:
The proposed sewer extension would replace an existing
6 inch private sewer, which would provide the needed additional
capacity and the required direct access for Lots No. 1 and 2
into the City sewer system.

This is to request construction of so eight -inch City sr from the
southerly most manhole on Bond Road easterly to the NZTdT property line.
The construction length is estimated roughly at 477 feet. It will improve _
sever service to City specifications for Lots 1, 2 and 3 of the Wall
edustrial Estates subdivision, and will also pick up the telephone building
The project will replace an Inadequate six-inch private sewer inherited by
Target Corporation from previous owners, the condition of which is now_
questionable, and remove
aserious development cast and service problem for
the above mentioned l0ts,especially Jet 81. It will also eliminate the
need for any further road openings for sewer service on Bowl Road, with the
one exception at Lot Y5.
Target is prepared to pay _its fifty Sxcent coat, providI_g the assessments _
_
sale with
three lot -ld deferred until sale. Lot #1 Is now ready for
axle with au industrial building planned bye developer, and Lot d2 is
expected to be sold within thirty Lays of the first sale. -
As the first developer is prepared to start constructions as soon as -
possible, your speedy attention to this request and Me expedit}_ous action
of the City Council will be
appreciated. - - -
