THAT the provisions of Chapter II., Article 21 oftheOrdinances
of the City of Bangor be amended as follows:
(1) THAT the last paragraph of Sec. 5, Subsection. 5.10(3)
be amended to read as follows:

(2) THAT the provisions of Sec. 5, Subsection 5:15.2, first
paragraph, be amended as follows:

(3) THAT the provisions of Sec. 5, Subsection 5.15.4, first
sentence, be amended as follows:
Time for Fair Hearing. Pursuant to the requirements of
22 M.R.S.A. 5 4322, the requested
hearing shall be held by the fair hearing officer(s) within
seven -{q} five (5) working days following the receipt of
the written request for an appeal. The scheduling of the
hearing shall take into consideration the convenience and

aggrieved person of the review procedure and the date, time,
and place of the fair hearing.
(4) TEAT the provisions of Seca 5, Subsection 5.15.7 be
amended as follows:
Decision. Upon completion of the fair hearing,. the
Committee shall within five -(5)'Working
days, prepare a written notice of its decision which
will contain thefollowing information:
1. A statement of the issueAs);
2. Relevant evidence presented by any
participant at the proceeding;
3. Pertinent provisions of the general law
and these guidelines relating to the
Committee's decision;
4. The Committee's decision and the reasons
for it. I
Copies of the notice of decision will be provided
forthwith to the aggrieved "person. The hearing
record and the case record shall be maintained by
the Public Welfare Director.
