ORDERED,
THAT, WHEREAS, the Maine Department of Transportation is
preparing to reconstruct the intersection of Odlin Road, Hammond
Street and Maine Avenue under Federal Aid Urban Project No.
M-1590(1): and
WHEREAS, said reconstruction will require alterations in
the present right-of-way lines of Odlin Road, Maine Avenue and
Hammond Street in the vicinity of their intersections, and
WREREAS, the City of Bangor owns the property abutting said
relocated streets, being part of Bangor International Airport;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It
ORDERED, THAT the City Manager, acting for and on behalf
of the Municipal. Officers, be and hereby is authorized to convey
by Quitclaim Deed the necessary land for the realignment of the
intersection of the above-mentioned streets, together with
necessary slope easements, drainage easements and, temporary
grading permits required by said reconstruction, a copy of said
Quitclaim Deed and Easement Agreements being on file rn the City
Clerk's Office, said conveyances being subject to the approval of
the Federal Aviation Administration as it pertains to Airport
property, and also subject to the relocation of a portion of the
City sanitary sewer by the Maine Depprtment of Transportation at
no expanse to the City of Bangor..

KNOW ALL MEW BY THESE PRESENTS, That the CITY OF BANGOR, located at Bangor,
County of Penobscot and State of mine, for considerations paid, grant unto the
STATE OF NAIVE, the following described temporary rights over land situated in
Bangor, County of Penobscot and State of Maine:
Being Parcel Nos. 1-1 and 1-2 as shown on a Right of Way Map entitled 'Relocated
Odlin Road, Bangor, Penobscot County, Federal Aid Project No. M-1570(1) dated
March 1984" on file 1a the office of the Department of Transportation Bureau of
highways at Augusta (D.O.T. File No. 10-292)
Temporary Rights
The right to enter upon land outside of and adjoining the boundaries of Relocated
Odlin Road, Hammond Street and Maine Avenue, for all purposes necessary to grade
the said adjoining land (to include any necessary ex vati:n, placing of fill
material, lamming, seeding, paving and othernecessary ary incidental work) to conform
to the adjacent highway construction within the limits defined by the "Grading
Limits" as shown on the beforementioned right of way map at the following locations:

DESCRIPTIONS OF EASEMENT TAKING
The following described rights of assessor in land are taken at the locations,
in the manner, to the extent specified and as Shown on theright of may map
hereinbefore mentioned:
The following Slope Easements and/or Slope Easements with Berm Ditches taken at
the locations and within the limits hereinafter described may be vacated provided
that the owner in fee of the land underlying said easements makes application to
the Department of Transportation, Bureau of Highways, forth therein the
proposed alterations within said limits that proposes relief of the necessity for
said easements for highway purposes. If i the opinion of the Department the pro-
posed. alteration o such amendment thereto, mutually agreed upon, in fact does
negate the necessity for -highway purposes, the said Department Shall vacate
said easement on completion of the alteration or amendment thereto.
Slopes and Toe of Slope Ditches
The right to enter, clear, grub, and/or construct and maintain slopes and toe of
elope ditches and to flaw water through and along said ditches as long as they
enecessary for highway purposes, on land outside of and adjoining the boundaries
of Relocated Odlin Brad and within the limits defined by the "Construction Limit
,Lines" as shown on the beforementioned Right of Gay Rap at the fallowing .locations:

covered pipe drain as shown on the beforementioned Right of Way Map at the
