Be it ordained by Ma City CamnoU of W My WBanyor, ae thUaww — THAT the provisions of Chapter IV, Article 1 of the Ordinances of the city of Bangor be amended by adding the following: Sec. 15 Appeals. Any person aggrieved by a denial by the Cit Olerk of a 1f Cation fox a taxi- cab license o a taxi driver's !$cense fr ed under Seca. 4 or 5 of this Ordinance may appeal said denial to [ eCitY Council ,sub lett to the following: (1) Notice of said appeal shall be in writing, statebrie£ly the grounds therefor, be directed to the City Council, and shall be filed with the City Clerk not rare than fifteen (15) days after notice of said denial has been received by the applicant. (2) Upon receipt of a notice o£ appeal, the City Clerk shall immediately notify the Chairman of the City Council Who shall take action to have it heard at a regular or special eetmg o the City Council. (3) Within ten (10) days after said hearing is completed, the City Council shall issue its decision on the appeal and shallinfoxm the appellant i ming or its action. Sec. 16 Further appeals.
