ORDERED, THAT John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed, copy of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk, releasing any interest the City may have to certain property located on Hammond Street by virtue of tax liens recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Sheldon L. Hartstone, Harry Hartstone, and Valerie L. narrators, Trustees of Northeast Equities Associates. I: Property on Ha d et. tr uced and 1 by Comcilman r U-59 MUNICIPAL QUITCLAIM DEED The CITY Of BANGOR, a body corporate, located at Bango®U County of Penobscot, State of Maine, for consideration paid, releases to SHELDON L. HARTSTONE, BARRY HARTSTONE, and VALERIE L. HARTSTONE, Trustees of Northeast Equities Associates, a Trust created under Declaration of Trust dated December 12, 1973 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 2424, Page 225, of Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, all its right, title and interest in and to the following real estate: A certain lot or parcel of land together with the - buildings thereon, situated in Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, bounded and described as follows, viz. Beginning at an iron rod in the southerly line of Hammond Street in said Bangor at the westerly line of the lot now or formerly owned by Ellen McLaughlin; thence southerly on the westerly line of said lot one hundred feet to an iron rod in the northerly line of land conveyed to Jotham S. Lane by Arvilla A. Pres- cott; thence westerly on the northerly line of said Lane's land as said line runs to dn,iron rod which is thirty-nine (39) feet more or less westerly of the last named bound; thence northerly to an iron rod in the southerly line of Hammond Street; thence easterly on said line of Hammond Street fifty feet to place of beginning. Being the same premises described in Parcel One in -'deed from Vdlerie I. Hartstone to Trustees of North- east Equities Associates dated December 28, 1973 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 2426, Page 185. The purpose of this deed is to convey any interest the City may have in the above described property by virtue of matured tax liens recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds by the City of Bangor against Bangor Savings Bank and Valerie L. Hartstone, viz: (a) tax lien against Bangor Savings Bank, Vol. 2158, Page 168, recorded May 20, 1969; , (b) tax liens against Valerie L. Hartstone, viz: 1. Vol. 2184, Page 624, recorded May 12, 1970; 2. Vol. 2213, Page 586, recorded May 18, 1971; 3. Vol. 2213, Page 587, recorded May 18, 1971; 4. Vol. 2272, Page 171, recorded June 1, 1972; 5, Vol. 2372, Page 1, recorded June 4, 1973. The said CITY OF BANGOR has cused this instrument to be sealed with its corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by JOHN G. FIELD, its Deputy Finance Director thereunto duly authorized, this day of , 1983.
