THAT Chapter 1, Article 5 Of the Ordinances of the City of Bangor be
amended in Section 1 as follows:
Sec. I Voting Districts Established. For purposes of all municipal
elections, the City of Bangor
shall be divided into five (5) voting districts, also known as
wards. The boundaries of such districts shall be the Same

and be it ordained,
THAT the provisions of Chapter I, Article 5, Section 2, Subsection 2.1 be
amended as follows:
2.1 District 116, Precinct 2. Beginning at the boundary line
of bass Park and Silver Road;
thence northeast on Silver Road to 7th Street. thence north-
east on 7th Street to Buck Street; thence northwest on Buck
Street to West Broadway; thence northeast on West Broadway

and be it further ordained,
THAT the provisions of Chapter 1, Article 5, Section 3 be amended as

Statement of Pact- The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the
descriptions Of the boundaries for the aforementioned voting districts to
conform with the descriptions for the House Districts Hos. 116 and 117 found
1n 21 H.R.S.A. S 1571-B.

follow: Beginning at the center line of Interstate 95 and
Kenduskeag Avenue as intersects with the boundary of Voting
District 119, theace southwest on Interstate 95 to Union
Street thence southeast on Union Street to 14th Street;
thence north on 14th Street to Ohio Street thence east and
south on Ohio Street to Bower Street; thence southeast On
Bower Street to Everett Street
thence northeast on Everett Street to Nelson Street; thence
north on Nelson Street to Valley Avenue; thence southeast
across Kenduakeag Stream on Valley Avenue, which becomes
Barlow Street; thence southeast on Harlow Street to Spring
Street; thence northeast on Spring Street to Center Street;
thence east on Somerset Street to French Street, thence
north on French Street to Garland Street: thence east o
Garland Street to Essex Street, thence north on Ease, Street
to Stillwater Avenue; thence north and east on Stillwater
