THAT the City of Bangor Comprehensive Plan, as amended, be
further amended on page 38 prior to the last sentence in the
last paragraph

In addition the Zoning Ordinance should provide for new
residential building techniques phrough thecreation of additional
residential zoning districts in areas .which are serviced by public
sewerage and public water. To encourage the creation of compatible
development complexes such districts should contain a minimum land
area of at least ten: acres.

Please be advised that the Planning Board held public
hearing on the above proposed amendment to the City's Comprehensive
Plan at its regular meeting of November 19, 1984. After considerable
discussion relative to the intent of the provisions of the manu-
factured housing act, the Board voted unanimously to recommend the
above Comprehensive Plan amendment forpassageby the City Council.
