Penquis for Forty Parking Spaces along Curve Street
This Order will authorize termination of the agreement with Webber Oil Company and the execution
of an agreement with Penquis for the lease of 40 city owned parking spaces along Curve Street.
On January 1, 2010 the city entered into a parking lease agreement with Webber Oil Company for
40 parking spaces along Curve Street. The City maintains the parking spaces, including plowing. The
spaces have been used by Penquis, the tenant of the building located at 252 Harlow Street. Penquis
recently purchased the building from Webber and they have requested continued use of those
parking spaces on Curve Street for their employees.
If approved, the term of the agreement includes payment of $35 per space, per month for a term of
five years. Staff recommends approval.
