Agenda:
1)An Order authorizing the execution of a contract between the City of Bangor and Maine
Avenue, LLC for the construction of a bus shelter on Corporate Drive located near the 19
Main Ave property.

2)An Order authorizing the execution of a contract between the City of Bangor and Bangor
Housing Authority for the construction of a bus shelter on Davis Rd.

Both bus shelters will be constructed and maintained by the entities entering into the
contracts. Either party has the opportunity to exit the contract after 120 days of notice.
At that time the City of Bangor can choose to take ownership of the shelters.
3)A Resolve to accept and appropriate $1.9 million dollars in 5339 discretionary funds
from the fiscal year 2017 grant for the purchase of 5 – 30’ replacement buses.

4)A Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Bangor and the Maine
Department of Health and Human Services establishing the responsibilities relating to
severe public health emergencies that require the use of medical supplies and where
these resources will be administered. This would allow the Cross Insurance Center and
the Parks & Recreation Building as Points of Distribution for medical supplies during
times of severe crisis.
