ORDERED,
THAT WHEREAS, the Bangor City Council adopted the present
Comprehensive Plan of the City of Bangor, Maine by .Council Order
50AB on January 28, 1974 and the Bangor City Council amended said
Comprehensive Plan by the adoption of a revised Land Use Plan by
Council Order 150 AG on June.,11,1979;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL. OF
THE CITY OF BANGOR, THAT the proposed revision to the 1979 Land Use
Plan in the Mt. Hope Avenue area in accordance with the attached
exhibit be adopted as arevision to the Comprehensive Plan of the
City of Bangor, Maine.

Mt. Hope Avenue Area
Council Ordinance No. 86-381
Please be advised that the Bangor Planning Board at its
regular meeting on October 6, 1986, held a public hearing on the
proposed amendment to the. Land Use Plan of the Comprehensive Plan
noted above.
After considerable discussionas to the protection of existing
residential developmant along both sides of Mt. Hope Avenue, and the
City's future development policyy, the Board. voted seven in favor
and none opposed to recommend the amendment to the Land Use Plan.
