Plans and Cost Estimates have been completed which would indicate the following: The proposed extension would consist of the installation of 100 feet of 8 inch pipe and the relocation of the existing manhole. This work, together with the repair of the existing pavement, would cost an estimated $3,000.00. Of this amount, the City would pay fifty percent,, and the remaining $1,500.00 would be assessed against Investment Management Group, the original petitioners for the sewer extension. The proposed extension will serve a new housing project being developed directly adjacent to the Granada Apartments development on Ohio Street. It is recommended that the sewer extension be undertaken as soon as possible, provided that the private share of the estimated cost is received from the Developer.
