As provided by law, (Maine Revised Statutes Annotated, Title 35) we propose to give public notice of this application by publication. A copy of this public notice will be forwarded to the City Clerk for City Records. If no written objection has been received within 14 days after publication, the Councilmen should date and issue the permit. When approved by a majority of the Board of Councilwen, please return the Permit worked '"fel. Co. Copy', duly signed, dated, recorded in the City Records, and attested by the City Clerk. ORDERED: That NEW MiGL TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAMI CLBIPANY end its successors and assigns be and is/are hereby authorized and Permitted to erect and maintain poles and cables and wires to be placed thereon, together with such sustaining, supporting and protecting fixtures as said Company may deem requisite, in, along, upon and across the public streets and highways of said City as hereinafter designated, as requested in application of said Companry dated the 13th day of May, 1986. All construction under this permit shall be in accordance with the following specifications: The poles shall be locatedbetween the vehicular traveled section of the way and the limits of the highway, shallbe set firmly in the grand, substantially at locations indicated upon the plan marked N. E. T. p T. Co. 925505 dated May 13, 1986 filed with said application, and shall be of wood or other suitable material, and the cables and wires shall he run at the height of not less than 18 feet from the ground at highway crossings and not less than 15 feet from the ground elsewhere for electric cables and wires and/or not less than 8 feet elsewhere for telWbone cables and wines, A11 cables and wires to be maintained in accordance with standards of the National Electrical.. Safety Code. THIS APPLICATION IS BRING SUEINITTED WITH PUBLIC NOTICE BY PUBLICATION Said poles to be erected substantially in accordance with the plan filed herewith marked N. E. T. $ T. Co. No. 925505 dated May 13, 1906 and shall be of wad or other suitable material, and the cables and wires shall be run at the height of not less than 18 feet from the ground at highway crossings and net less than 1S fast from the ground elsewhere for electric cables and wires, and (or) not less than 8 feet elsewhere for telephone cables and wires. All cables and wires to be maintained in accordance with standards of the National Electrical Safety Code.
