On -Street Meter Zones, Section 10.1 - Waiving Court Hearing For. Violation,
and Section 13.2 - Applicability.

THAT Chapter III, Article 6, Section 4.1.1 - On -Street Meter Zones be
amended as follows:
4.1.1 On Street Meter Zones. there shall be five 'three parking meter
zones for on -street parl7ng which shall
be designated as follows:

(a) E1s9 Two Hour Meter Zones. Parking in this zone for more than
two (2) hours during the hours of
nine a.m. to five p.m., except on Saturdays, Sundays and
Holidays shall be unlawful and in violation of this Article.
A fee of five twenty cents for one hour or sen 'fort cents

installed therein shall be designed to accommodate five cent
and ten cent coins.

Per -Mawr- Parking in this zone for more than one (1) hour
during the hours of nine a.m. to five p.m., except
on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays shall be unlawful and in
violation of this Article. A fee of five 'ten cents per half
hour or ten tweer cents for one hour is hereby designated
for this zone and meters installed therein shall be designed
to accommodate five cent and ten cent coins.
(c) Edi Twelve Minute Meter Zones. Parking in this zone for more than
twelve minutes during the hours
of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except on Saturdays, Sundays
and Holidays shall be unlawful and in violation of this
Article. A fee of a e five cents for twelve minutes i
hereby designated for tF s zone and meters therein installed
shall be designated to accommodate pesaies five cent coins.
(d) Ee) Designation of Metered Zones. The streets or portion of
.streets to be included in
each
zone shall be designated by the City Manager and approved by
order of the City Council. The City Clerkshall maintain at
all times a record of the areas included in each metered zone.
AND FURTHER ORDERED THAT Chapter III, Article 6, Section 10.1 - Waiving
Court Hearing For Violation be amended as follows:
Sec. 10.1 Waiving Court Hearing for Violation. Any person accused o£
violation of any
portion of this Article relating to overtime parking or
illegal occupancy of two parking spaces may voluntarily waive -
his or her right to appear and defend before any Court o
judicial tribunal the charge made against him or her for
such illegal parking byppeying to the municipality the

AND FURTHER ORDERED THAT Chapter III, Article 6, Section 13.2 - Applica-
bility be amended as follows:
13.2 Applicability. Any vehicle, which has accumulated three (3)
r more notices of violation of any parking
ordinance or regulation therein of the Ordinances of the
City of Bangor for which there has been neither payment of
waiver fees nor issuance of court process and which is then
_parked in violation of any such provisions, may, at the option
of any City of Bangor Police Officer or other City employee
authorized to enforce said parking ordinance or regulation be
immobilized in place or may be removed and stored until all
waiver fees established pursuant to Chapter III, Article 6,
Ordinances of the City of Bangor, for all of such outstanding
notices of violations and also the impoundment, storage and
other charges authorized under this ordinance have been paid.
If impoundment by immobilization is utilized, a charge for
such impoundment of 610009 $25.00 shall be charged and paid
prior to such release.
