to the Bangor city Charter providing for the deletion of a part of Article i,
as follows:

be a municipal corporatim under the name of the City
of Bangor, ad shall have, exercise and enjoy all
rights, immunities, p rs, privileges and franchises
and shall be subject to all the duties, liabilities
and obligations provided for herein, or otherwise
pertaining to or incumbent upon said city as a
municipal mrporatim, or pertaining Co or incumbent
upon the inhabitants or officers thersof; and may
pact by-laws, ordinances ad regulations for
municipal purposes, not inconsistent With the
omstitutim and laws of the State of Maine, ad

detem�Tre that amendment to the Bangor City Charter providing for the repeal
of limitations on penalties for ordinance violations should be considered, and
be it further

THAT the City Clerk is hereby ordered, pursuant to 30 M.R.S.A. 9
1911 et seq., as snendded, to peovide for iwblisbed notice of a bearing to be
held at On , 1986, in the City Council
Chaobers, City Nall, Bogor, Maine, for pupmes of considering an amendment
to the Bogor Qty Charter prwidirg for the of
Article 1, as follows.
"the inhabitants of the City of Bogor shall continue to
be a municipal corporation under the name of the City
of Bangor, and shall have, exercise and enjoy all
rights, immunities, powers, privileges and franchises
and shell be subject to all the duties, liabilities
and obligations provided for herein, or otherwise

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Bangor City Council, Municipal Officers of the
City of Bangor, will bold a public hearing on May 26, 1986 at 7:30 P.M. in the
City Council Chambers, Bangor City Hall, 73 Harlow Street, Bangor, Maine for
Purposes of considering a mendment to the Bangor City Charter providing for she
deletion of apart of Article I, as follows:
"The inhabitants of the City of Bangor shall continue to be a
municipal Corporation under the n of the City of Bangor, and
shall have,exercise and enjoy all rights, immunities, powers,
Privileges and franchises and shall be subject to all the duties,
