THAT the sum of $6,000 be transferred from the Contingent
Account (61-01) to the City Nursing Facility Contribution Account
(90-03);
and be it further
ORDERED,
THAT Affiliated Healthcare Management be authorized to
file an appeal on behalf of the City Nursing Facility for an
exception to the limit on routine service costs for skilled nursing
care the years ending June 1962, 1953 and 1985, all i
accordance with a proposal dated March 31, 1986 and attached
hereto.

Affiliated Healthcare Management will prepare appeals en behalf of Bangor City'
Nursing Facility for an exception to the limit on routine service costs for
skilled nursing care for the above years. The fee for such services will be +z,
billed at 160.00 per hour. Out - w

The total fees associated with these appeals are not expected to exceed 56,000

experience with third party reimbursement issues and appeals.
The target date for completion of the three appeals will he June 30, 1986,
assuming that work can begin by the first of May,
