Drive as a Public Way

ORDERED,
THAT, WHEREAS, the City Council by Council Order No. 85-183
passed May 13, 1985, authorized the City to participate in the
construction and the future acceptance of Springer Drive as a
public way, said Springer Drive extending in a northeasterly
direction from Hogan Road(, and
WNERE9S, said construction has been satisfactorily completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It
ORDERED, THAT the City Treasurer be and hereby is authorised
to accept a Deed from the Webber Oil Company for said Springer
Drive right-of-way, a eopy of said Deed being on file in the City
Clerk's Office; and be it further
CRDERED, THAT the City Engineer acting for and on behalf of
the City Council in accordance with 23 M.R.S.A. 3022 be and hereby
is directed to lay out said Springer Drive as a public way for
highway purposes; and be it further
ORDERED, THAT saidCityEngineer shall give written notice
of the intentions of said City Council by posting a notice for
at least seven days in two public places in the municipality and
in the vicinity of said Springer Drive; and be it further
ORDERED, THAT the City Engineer make a written report of said
proceedings containing the bounds and adneasurements of said Springer
Drive right-of-way and the damages allowed to any person or persona
or any benefits resulting from said laying out, all in accordance
with the Laws of the State of Maine.

RELEASE DEED
WEBBER OIL COMPANY, successor by merger t0 Springer
Realty Company, a Maine corporation, with a place of business at
Bangor, Penobscot County, State of Maine, for consideration paid,
grants to the City of Bangor, a body corporate, located at
Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, a certain lot or
parcel of land situated in the City of Bangor, County of
Penobscot, State at Maine, known as "Springer Drive" and bounded
and described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of
Lot No. 4 as shown on plan entitled "Webber
Interstate Park" recorded In Penobscot
Registry of Deeds in Plan file D59-78, said
point being on or near a concrete right-of-way
monument, also said point also located North

(155.98) feet from a concrete highway monument
located at an angle point in said Lot No. 4;
thence by and along a line of the "Future

80' to 66' width extending from Hogan Road to
other land of Springer Realty.
