Deed - Property on Hammond Street

ORDERED, -
THAT John G. Field, Deputy Finance Director, is hereby
authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to
execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed, a copy of which is on file
in the office of the City Clerk, releasing any interest the
City may have to real estate located on Hammond Street by
virtue of undischarged tax liens recorded in the Penobscot
Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Edward
J. Hughes Estate.

Me CITY OF MINOR, a body corporate, located at Eargor, County of
Penobscot, State of Maine, for consideration paid, releases to TEAMED J. HWHSS
ESTATE, of Dangor, County of Penobscot, State of Maine, all its right, title and
interest in and to a certain lot or Parcel of lana arena particularly described
as follows:
Real estate located on the North side of HamroM Street
in said danger, and further described in deeds
recorded in voluse 1462, Page 49; volume 1501, Page
48; Volare 1538, Page 167; Volare 1540, Page 10; and
volare 1836, Page 271, Penobscot Registry of Needs.
Being the sane premises acquired by said city of 9argor (by
John G. Field, Collector of Taxes) for unpaid taxes
assessed for the years 1969 and 1970 by virtue of
vdiacharged tax liens recorded in Said Penobscot
Registry of Desda in Volume 2184, Page 650 and Volume
2213, Page 602.
the purpose of this Teed is to replace a previous deed
given to the heirs of Edward J. Hughss on Nay 28,
1986, said release deed being lost or destroyed and
never recorded in the Penobscot RWistry of
Deeds.
Grantees' address: 96 Pier Street, Bangor, NE, 04401.
The purpose of this deed is to release any interest the City may have in
the above-described property by virtue of unpaid taxes assessed for the tax
years 1969 and 1970.
The said CITY OF MINOR has caused this instrument to be sealed with its
corporate seal, and signed in its corporate name by JOSE] G. FIELD, Deputy
Finance Director, thereunto duly authorized, this day of September, 1987.
