Oh behalf of St. Joseph's Hospital, I respectfully request that
Council Order $87-215 be continued to the first regular Council meet-
ing in July. As you are aware, the Council passed Council Order
887-185 on May 27, 1987, directing the City Engineer to pursue the
discontinuance of a portion of French Street located between Broadway
and Congress Street. John Frawley conducted a hearing on the matter
this morning, and St. Joseph's Hospital has agreed to provide addi-
tional information to Mr. Frawley prior to the formulation of his
report to the Council. Since Council Order @87-215 deals with the
deletion of this portion of French Street from the Official Map, I
believe it would be advisable to continue the matter until such time
s the actual discontinuance report is before the Council, so that
both matters can be dealt with at the same meeting.
If you have any questions or comments, or need additional
information, please feel free to contact me.
