THAT the zoning boundat`y, lines as established by the Zoning Map
. f the City of Bangor dated September 23, 1974, as amended, be
hereby further amended as follows:
By changing _ parcels of land located on New York Street, Webster
Avenue, off Crestmant Road and off Norway Road (Tax Map No. 8, Parcel
No. I and Parcel No. 3; Tax Map No. 8, part of Parcel No. lA, Parcel
2 and Parcel 10; Tax Map No. 3, part of Parcel No. 4; and Tax Map No.
26, part of Parcel No. 1) from Residential 1 Zone to Park and Open
Space Zone. Said parcels containing approximately 28.31 acres and
being more particularly indicated on the map attached hereto andmade
a part hereof.

Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regular
seting on May 18, 1987, held a public hearing on the above
zone change request. After thorough review of the City's Land
Use Plan for these areas and the current conditions in the area
as well as the. City's plans for a golf course expansion, the
Board voted five in favor and none opposed to recommend the above
zone change request.to Park and Open Space. The Board noted in
conjunction with its recommendation that while the proposed golf
nurse project was not under its jurisdiction, it hoped that
satisfactory screening would be provided in .the Crestmont Avenue
area to meet the concerns of neighbors who were present at the
public hearing.

Council Ordinance No. 87-172
Please be advised that the Planning Board at its regular
seting on May 18, 1987, held a public hearing on the above
zone change request. After thorough review of the City's Land
Use Plan for these areas and the current conditions in the area
as well as the. City's plans for a golf course expansion, the
Board voted five in favor and none opposed to recommend the above
zone change request.to Park and Open Space. The Board noted in
