(TITLE.) VY/iULTi Authorizing an Issue of $1,280,900 Aggregate Principal
Amount of Bonds and a Tax Levy Therefor
BY the rap C"BaBI of the City of Deepen:
ORDERED, - -
THAT pursuant to Section 8 of Article VI of the City Charter (Private
and Special Lava of 1931, Chapter 56) and all amendments thereof and acts
additional thereto there is hereby authorized the issus, and sale at owe time
r from time to time of Due Million Two Hundred Eighty Thousand Mine Hundred
Dollars ($1,280,900) aggregate principal amount of serial beads of the City
of Bangor. The proceeds derived from the sale of said bonds, less premium,
if any shall be used add are hereby appropriated for the purchase of equip-
ment, construction of permanent public improvements or for any other purposes
authorized by general law or special law or hereafter applicable to the
City of Bangor, all of which are hereby authorized, to wit:
1.) Street Beconsttuctfan $250,000
2.) Parking Deck Design 200,000
3.) Auditorium Roof 160,000
4.) Ban Air Industrial Perk Expansion 112,500
5.) Columbia Street Parking Deck 87,000
6.) Airport Improvements 83,400
7.) State Street Paving 34,000
8.) Traffic Signals 25,000
9.) Main Street Paving 21,000
10;) Fire Department Training Building 20,000
11.) Fairmount School Fuel Tank 32,000
12.) Fire Alarm Systema - Middle Schools 32,000
13.) Fruit Street Hoof :48,000
14.) Vine Street Hoof 32,000
15.) Bangor High School Water Main 55,000
16.) Fairmount School Curtain -Walls 32,000
ll.) Bangor High School Paving 36,000
18.) Fruit Street Playground 16,000
Me estimated period of utility of each of the improvements, equipment Or
Other Items to be financed with the proceeds of said bands is hereby determined
to be at laser 25 years.
THAT the date, maturities, denominations, interest rate at rates, place of
payment and ether details of each issue of said bonds, including prevision for their
sale and award, shall be determined by the Finance Director with the approval of the
Finance Committee and the Chairman of the City Council, and said bonds shall be signed
by the Finance Director, countersigned by the Chairman of the City Council and be in
such form as they shall determine by their erecution thereof. Any issue of said bonds

Director with the approval of the Finance Committee and the Chairman of the City
Council.
THAT in each of the yearsduring which any ofthe bands are

for that purpose, shall be sufficient to pay the interest on said bonds payable

authorized prior to their_ issuance, at the discretion of the Finance Director, with
the approval of the Fineace Committee and the Chairmanof the City Council.
THAT in each of the years during. which any of the bonds are outstanding there
shall be levied e tax in an amount whish, with other re , if any, available
for that puapose. shall be sufficient to pay the interest on said bends payable
in such year and the principal of such bonds maturing in such year.
THAT pursuant to.gection 10 of Article VI of the City Charter and any other
enabling authority, the Finance Director, with the approval of the Finance Committee
and the Chairman of the City Council, is hereby authorized to issue temporary notes
in anticipation of the foregoing hood issue, said notes to be signed by the Fivante
Director, countersigned by. the Chairman of the City Council and otherwise to be in
such form as they shall determine by their execution thereof.
