If in a G&ISD district, the facility must be located on a major arterial. This ordinance amendment would clarify that, in addition to being located on a major arterial, the facility must primarily be accessed from that major arterial; simply having frontage on the major arterial is not enough. As these facilities tend to have high amounts of traffic at certain times of day, this will help ensure that the traffic remains on major arterials rather than being routed through side streets.
