The Planning Board held a public hearing on the above -noted
subdivision plan revision at its regularly scheduled meeting o
November 7, 1988. The Board voted 5 to.0 in favor of a motion
to approve the final, subdivison plan reNo public
improvements are proposed. Therefore, nosbond required.
No one spoke either in favor of or in opposition to this request.

THAT the final subdivision plan for a revision to the approved
Stillwater Gardens Subdivision fortheaddition of one lot, having
been reviewed by the Planning Boardand found to be in general con-
formance with local subdivision laws and State of Maine Statutes, Title
30, Section 4956, be approved. No public improvements are proposed.
Therefore, no bond required.

b. Applicant proposes to add 70 guest rooms to the existing Holiday Inn
facility by adding a third story addition to three separate wings of
the motel complex. Three stories is now allowed in the C-3 Zone
(provided that the floor area ratio 0.6 is met) as a result of a
recent ordinance amendment. The site plan as submitted meets sub-
mittal and ordinance requirements for yard areas, setbacks, sideyards
and height limits. Adequate additional parking is also provided.
Staff would recommend site plan approval.
Item No. 5: Site Plan Revision - 1476 Broadway - SEGE Radio Station
a. Applicant requests site plan revision to amend the completion date
for construction of an addition for office use located at 1476 Broadway
(Bangor Baptist Church) in an Agricultural Zone.
b. The applicant has allowed the prior approval to lapse (September 30,
1988) and is now requesting revision of their site plan, more
-. specifically, of their completion date to April 30, 1989. Staff
would recommend site plan revision.
Item No. 6: Site Plan Review 1160V. Ohio Street - Frederick Street
a. Applicant requests site plan approval to fill and'grade property
located at 1160V Ohio Street in a Residential 4 Zone.
b. Applicant proposes to fill approximately 1.5 acres located on Ohio
Street, directly across the street from the Ohio Street/Finson Road
intersection, for future development. Filling, grading and similar
earth moving activities are allowed under Article 21, Section 2(3)3
in the R-4 Zone provided the project will not cause erosion, sedimenta-
tion or flooding. The City Engineer has reviewed the plan and Staff
would recommend site plan approval.'

to the Stillwater Gardens subdivision off Stillwater Avenue in a
Residential lA Zane.
b. The proposed one lot addition received preliminary subdivision
approval at the Board's. October:17,, 1986 meeting.- The proposed lot
is approved subject to the reservation of a possible future right -of-
way.
c. The City Engineer's Officehas reviewed the plan and Staff would
recommend final plan approval.
Item No. 8: 'Special Exception/SitePlan - 54 Springer Drive. Peoples
Heritage Bank
a. Applicant requests special exception/site plan approval to add a drive -
up window to the existing bank in the Shaw's Plaza off Springer Drive.
