WHITEAS, the Bangor City Wuncil, in its capacity as the Municipal Officers of
the City of Bargor, held a public hearing pursuant W 17 M.R.S.A. 55 2851-2859
to determine whether or not the building or structure located at 66 Westland
Avenue, Bangor, Maine, on a lot described i a deed recorded in volume 3164,
Page 64, Penobscot County Registry of Deals owned by Westland Gardens, Inc.,
of Bangor, Maine, constitutes a dangerous building within the meaning of said
statute; and
NHBPFlaS, based upon the evidence presented at said public Haring, the Ba gor
City Council finds that the building or structure in question is structurally
unsafe; unstable; a fire hazard; unsuitable or improper for the use or
occupancy as aresidence; a hazard to health or safety because of inadequate
maintenance, dilapidation, obsolescence or abandonnint, and dangerous W the
life and prgrerty of the inhabitants of the City of Bangor; and
Wdlau A5, the Bangor City Council bereby adjudges said building or structure to
H a nuisance and dangerous, as provided in Title 17, M.R.S.A. 55 2851-2859,
NOW, THEREFORE, By the City Council of the City of Bangor:
O DEPED, THAT said building or structure shell H disposed of as follows:
(1) Said building or structure shall be demolished by
the owner(s), within thirty (30) days of the date of
passage of this Order, said demolition to be
performed in conformity with the laws and Ordinances
Of the City of Bangor; and
(2) In .the event said building or structure is
not demolished within said thirty (30) days as
provided stove, the City's Director of Code
Enforcement and Fire Prevention may cauee said
building or structure to be demlished, all
expenses incurred thereby to be paid by the
Owner (a) or assessed against the property in
accordance with 17 M.R.S.A. S 2853; and
(3) the owner(s) of said building or structure
shall remove all personal property located
therein. In the event that the owner(s) fail to
corply with this Order, the City's Director of
Code Enforcement and Fire Prevention may remove
and dispose of said personal property.

ORDER®, MT the City Solicitor, or his representative, is hereby authorized
to take any and all additional necessary action to secure the demlitim of
said building or structure.
