Councilman 88-355 August 15, 1988 Angela R. Nickerson 236 Grove Street Bangor, Maine 04401 Bangor City Council Bangor City Hall Harlow Street Bangor, Maine 04401 Ladies a Gentlemen: Circumstances have arisen which make it necessary for me to resign from the Municipal Development District Advisory Board. I have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Bangor Center Management Corporation, and I feel that this would be conflict of interest. Since my interest lies in the direction that this appointment would take me, I have decided to accept the BCMC position. It has been an honor to serve the City of Bangor on the MDDAB and would be very willing to serve in any capacity the City sees fit as long as no conflict would arise with my position on BCMC's Board of Directors. The City of Bangor is indeed fortunate to finally have a City Council who collectively feels that Downtown Bangor needs attention and is of immeasurable value to the future of the City as a whole. Thank you for your untiring efforts on our behalf and on behalf of all of the factions and groups who have only the best interest of Bangor at heart. Sincerely, gela R. Nickerson
