Councilmen WCODIAND Dun CBADE The City Engineer proceeded to lay out a grade for said Woodland Drive, as follows: Beginning at the southerly edge of Burleigh Brad at 81. 200.5+; thence ascending on a grade of 0.90% for a distance of two hundred thirty-eight (238) feet to el. 202.64, being the point of curvature of aertical curve having a length of two hundred (200) feet' thence valong said curve to El. 209.15 at a point of tangency; thence ascendingalong said tangent on a slope of 5.61% for a distance of four hundred fifty (450) feet to a point of curvature of a convex vertical curve having a length of five hundred (500) feet; thence along said curve to E1. 242.65 at a point of tangency; thence descending along said tangent on a slope of 2.30% for a distance of three hundred fifteen (315) feet to the southerly edge of Westwood Road at E1. 235.40. WESTWOOD ROAD GRADE The City Engineer proceeded to lay out a grade for said Westwood Road, as follows: Beginning at the easterly edge of Woodland Drive at E1. 209.85; thence ascending on a grade of 2.13 % for a distance of thirteen (13) feet. core or less, to E1: 210.13. being the point of curvature of a 100 -foot concave ertical curve; thence along said curve to El. 213.78, being the point of tangency; thence ,ascending alongsaid tangent on aelope of 5.18% for a distance of two hundred twenty-five (225) feet to E1. 225.43, being at the point of cur of a 300 -foot c vertical curve; thence along said curve to E1. 2356, s , being at a point of tangency; thence acending along said tangent on a grade of 1.25% for a distance of forty-six (46)feet, more or less, to E1. 235.69 feet at the terminus of Woodland Drive. Thesubject streets were constructed by Harold Johnson as part of the Hemlock Ridge Subdivision under agreement with the City of Bangor, and have been constructed t No City standards. Consequently, no damages are recommendedus the result of the laying out of said streets. The Final Plan for the subject Subdivision was approved by the City Planning Board, and has been added to the Official City Map; consequently, o further action is required by the Planning Board in the acceptance of the above-nentiond streets. It is recommended that the streets be accepted as public ways, to be rimedand known as Westwood Hand and WoodlandDrive. Respectfully submitted, John T. WESTWOOD ROM Beginning at a point on the easterly right-of-way line of Woodland Drive, said point located four hundred seventy-five and twenty-three on hundredths (475.23) feet south from the southerly right-of-way line of e Burleigh Aced. as measured along said easterly right-of-way line of Woodland Drive, said point of beginning being on the southerly right-of-W8y line of Westwood Road; thence North 50° 40' East along the said southerly sight - of -Way line of Westwood Road for a distance of six hundred eighty-nine and twelve one hundredths (689.12) feet to a point, said point being at the intersection of the easterly right-of-way line of Woodland Drive at its northerly terminus; thence North 34° 36' West along a northerly projection of said easterly right-of-way, line of Woodland Drive for a distance of sixty-six and tw1my-three one hundredths (66.23) feet to a point;. thence South 500 401 West along a line parallel to, and sixty- six (66) feet north from and at right angles to the first described line a distance of six hundred eighty-nine and twelve one hundredths (689.12) feet to the easterly right-of-way line of Woodland Drive; thence South 34° 36' East along the easterly right-of-way line of Woodland Drive for- a distance of sixty-six and twenty-threa one hundredths (6633) feet to the paint of beginning.
