ORDERED,
TMT the attached report of the city Engineer showing the estimated

ORDERED,
THAT said sewer extension be completed as soon as possible after receipt
of the estimated private share from Miramar Properties. Inc., the original
Petitioner for said sever extension: and be it further
ORDERED.
THAT the sum of Seven Thousand Two Hundred Twenty Dollars ($7.220.00)
be transferred from the Reserve for Future Construction - Sewer Fund to cover
the remaining share of said construction.

To the Municipal Officers:
Reference is made to City Council Order No. 88-212 passed April 25,
1988 which directed the City Engineer to determine the cast of extending
the sanitary e n Stillwater Avenue to Kittredge Road in accordance
with a petition received from Miramar Properties, Inc.
Surveys, Plans and Cost Estimates have been completed, which
would provide for the following: The proposed extension would consist
of the Installation of 320 feet of 10 inch pipe and one manhole at a
total estimated Coat of $11,000.00. of this amsunn, fifty percent
would be paid by the City of Bangor, and the remaining $5,500.00 would
be assessed against the properties benefitted, as follows.

Since Miramar Properties, Inc. is the petitioner for the extension
of the sewer,
which is intended to a wmotel, It Is recommended
that payment of their estimated assessment be obtained prior to the start
of construction, and that the remaining private assessment be made upon
completion of construction after a final report Is submitted to the City
Council.
Since the new motel has an carIm,red cost in excess of $6 million,
the ual taxes will fax exceed the City's share of the proposed
nstru
ction, and for tbigr n It is recommended that the sewer be
constructed as soon as possible.
Plans showing the proposed sewer extension are on file in the
Office of the City Engineer.
