THAT Chapter VI of the Ordinances of the city of Ba ]or is hereby amended by the addition of a new Article 15, to read as follows: ARTICLE 15 SEATBBO.AApl/3 AND BICYCLES Sec. 1 Title. This Ordinance shall be know and] may he cited as the "city of Bangor Ordinance Regulating the Operation of Bicycles and Skateboards." Sec. z Definitions. For purfooes of this Ordinance, the following words shall have the follwirg meaning: (e) Bicycle. Every device propellel by human power upon xhich any person may ride, having two tatlem wheels either of which is more than 16" in diameter. (b) Central Business zone. That portion of the City of Bangor designated as the Central Business (C-4) Zone in Chapter VIII, Article 4 of the Ordinances of the City of Bangor and in the "Zoning Map of the City of Bangor", as they my be amended from time to time. (c) City. ffie City of Bangor. (d) Operate. To ride upon, drive, propel, or otherwise convey oneself or others by the use of a bicycle or skateboar (e) skateboard. No person shall operate a skateboard on any street, sidewalk or other public way in any portion of the City designated as a Central Business (C-4) Zane. Sec. 4 Bicycle Operation. (a) M person shall operate a bicycle on any sidewalk in any portion of the City. (b) No person shall operate a bicycle in any City park, as designated in Chapter VI, Article 12, Section 3, located in any fortion of the Central Business (C-4) wee. Sec. 5 Civil Penalties.
