Item/Subject: Purchase of Transit Busses -
Respomible Department: Motor Pool-Transit
Commentary: -
The City of Bangor and Town -of Hamodenhave been forced into
replacing the busses on their respective transit routes because
of the poor conditions of the existing Mercedes. This Order
authorizes the City of Bangor to acquire the two (2) vehicles
under the U.M.T.A. funding program which provides 806 of the
purchase price. The 20% local share will be borne by the two
communities involved. Brewer's will be a straight cash
contribution while Hampden's is a transfer from the reserve
because ,they have been contributing since entering the system.
