Dear Miss Correy: "Pursuant to my discussion yesterday with Matt Nichols, I am writing to request that the execution of a quit -Claim Deed from the City of Bangor to Thoro-Clean Laundry, Inc. relating to 250 Parkview Avenue, and 201-203 Palm Street be placed on the City Councilts agenda. " Although the relevant taxeshavebeen paid, several tax liens remain undischarged at the Registry of Deeds.. The Volume and. Page of said tax liens are as follows: 1. Volume 3525, Page 70, recorded May 23, 1984; 2. Volume 3525, Page 71, recorded May 23, 1984;, 3. Volume 3525, Page 72, recorded May 23, 1984; 4. Volume 3391, Page 285; 5. Volume 3391, Page 286; 6. Volume 3391, Page 287. The first three liens were against Thoro-Clean Laundry, Inc. while the others were against James E. Crestakos. I also request that the quit -Claim Deed be broad enough to include any right, title or interest the City has obtained from - these tax liens and any prior tax liens or tax deeds. As I explained to Hatt, in 1936 the City of Bangor obtained the property through a tax deed. At that time, the property was ned by a Mr. Charles O. Bolduc. Mr_ Bolduc died in 1947.In 1957 the city conveyed the property back to him, although he had been dead for 10 years. The property was later quit -claimed by the city to his daughter, but there is some question as to whether it is limited to a conveyanceof interest acquired. relating to tax liens she failed to pay. _ Therefore, in order to clear up this Matter, I request that the tax 'lien not be limited to the city's interest relating to the above referenced liens but to any prior interest it may have acquired. Thank you for your assistance in this .batter. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. Verytruly yours, GROSS, MINSKY, MGGDL b SINGAL, P.A. Sherry H. Fletcher SHF/sdk
