Field, Deputy Finance Director, is hereby authorized and directed, on behalf of the City of Bangor, to execute a Municipal Quitclaim Deed, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, releasing any interest the City may have to real estate located on Stillwater Avenue in said Bangor by virtue of undischarged tax liens recorded in the Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Said deed shall be directed to Maurice F. and Marjorie L. Glidden, successors in title to Walter B. Glidden Heirs. Our review of the chain of title reveals the followingtaxliens which are undischarged of record: 11 Tax Liens assessed against Walter B. Glidden recorded April 4-, 1922, Vol. 916, Page 124; April 4, 1937, Vol. 1110, Page 264; February 3, 1938, Vol. 1130, Page 68; February 7, 1940, Vol. 1146; Page 291; and February 6, 1942, Vol. 1168/'Page 95; and 2) Tax Liens assessed against Edwin E. Glidden recorded February 2, 1933, Vol. 916, Page 175 and February 2, 1934, Vol. 916,Page 281. I would like to obtain a Release Deed from the City of Bangor to Maurice and Marjorie Glidden releasing any interest the . City may have acquired by virtue of the above tax liens. If there are any problems with this, please advise.. Also, if you wish me to prepare the proposed Release Deed, please advise, and I will do so; I am enclosing a copy of the deed to Mr. and Mrs. Glidden•a property. - Thank you for your assistance.
