Item No. 89-400
ORDER - Parking Prohibited at
All Times (Schedule V)
Item/Subject:
I Second Street Avenue
Responsible Department. Police Department
Commentary:
A resident has requested the posting of No Parking at All Times
along the south side of the roadway from
Second Street to the
area of the 900 turn as shown on the attached map and also beyond
the turn on the Y.W.C.A. side of the street to the end of the
'pavement.
The problem exists when the area is used
by persons attending
Y.W.C.A. for parking. Due to road.width,
parking on both sides
impedes emergency vehicles responding to
calls on this street.
anem am .
Manager's Comments:
This has been reviewed and approved by the
Governmental Operations
Committee. The Police Department has contacted all three
residents on the street. They all agree
with this action. We
recommend your approval.
