Commentary:
The Bangor Hydro is upgrading the line which sercices the Army Guard
at B.I.A. from Florida Ave. The project,consist of installing new
li poles and transformers. The easement allows for the one time movement
o£ the line and easement if it proves to not be local in the proper
long term location. The Army Guard accepts the easement, the cost on
of moving the line, arta the removal of the transformers. (Bee
attached letters).
The City Engineer and City Attorney have had this item to review.

Dear Mr. Buffington:
In reference to relocating the three phase overhead electrical service
to the Army National Guard at Bangor International Airport, Bangor
Hydro -Electric Company will do the following:
1. Install poles 17A, 18, 19 & 23
2. Remove three transformers from pole 911
3. Install three 5ORVA transformers on pole 823
4. Install three 50EVA transformers on pole B8
5. Provide service to Building 4255 from p010 914 on Hayes St.
6. Install deadends and a guy for pole 91 (Army National Guard
to be billed).
There are
Some errors on the attached print submitted by Lt. Dave
Brown, Army National Guard. Pole #9 will not be installed by Bangor
Hydro -Electric Company. It is an existing pole with metering transformers
on it. The new line will go from pole 418 to pole 923. Also, a new line
will go from pole 48 to pole 423.

City of Bangor, County of Penobscot, and State of Maine, and described as.

Being a portion of the premises conveyed by United States of
America to the Grantor herein by deed dated December 18, 1968, and
recorded in the Penobscot County Registry of Deeds in Book 2148,

erect or maintain or permit the erection or maintenance of any building,
trailer; mobile home, swimming pool,'or other structure, of any kind o
nature, within 15 feet of said line, any or all of which in the opinion of the
Grantee, its successors and assigns, would endanger or interfere with the
exercise of any of the rights, privileges and easements hereby conveyed.
This easement is granted upon the condition that if the Grantor herein,
its successors and assign, requests the Bangor Hydro -Electric Company, its
successors and assigns, to relocate its facilities on said premises, then the
said Bangor Hydro -Electric company, its successors and assigns, Willrelocate
its facilities Within a reasonable amount of time after receipt of such
request, provided however that said relocation shall be to a location that is
mutuallyagreeable to the Grantor and Grantee herein, and further provided
that Bangor Hydro -Electric Company agrees to relocate its facilities only once
With no expense to the Grantor herein.
TO. HAVE AND TO HOLD the said rights, privileges and easements to said
Bangor Hydro -Electric Company, its successors and assigns forever.
