THAT the attached request of the New England Telephone and
Telegraph Company to locate public telephones on City of Bangor
property is received and approved.
Note: The Telephone Company has requested permission to locate public
telephones at the following locations:
The grassed area in the center of the Pickering Square parking lct.
Adjacent to the sidewalk on Harlow Street, on an esplanade located
between the Queen City Real Estate Company and the Bangor Roofing
Company.
The Central Street Bus Stop.

Notice 1s hereby given that Mare is now pending before the City Council the
following orders (TITLE.) ORDER, Approving Petition of Net England Telephone and
Telegraph Company for Public Telephones. By the City Council of the City of Bangor,
ORDERED. THAT the request of the New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. to Innate
White telephones w the Wasted mm in the center of Pickering Sq. Parking lot;
adjacent to the sidewalk on Harlow St., an an esplanade located between the Queen
City Mal Estate Co. and the Bangor Roofing Co.; and the Central Street Bus Stop,
is hereby approved.

Dear Sirs.
Tlus is a request for permission to locate public telephones
on the City of Bangor property. Enclosed you will find sketches of the
proposed locations and pictures of the public telephones we propose to use.
The public telephones will be installed and maintained at Company
expense with no cost to the City a Bangor. A commission of Zp% ov each
400 per day collected will be paid to the City of Bangor for each public telephone
which is installed
