ORDERED,
TEAT WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized funds for
the construction of an interceptor Sewer to be constructed along
Xenduakeag Strome and
WfiEREAS, a portion of that construction will, of
necessity, cross privately owned lands and
WHEREAS, plans for the construction of a portion of
this interceptor sewer have been completed by the Engineering
Depertment of the City of Bangor, now, therefore, be it
ORDERED, that the City Engineer 1s hereby authorized, acting
for and on behalf of the municipal officers, to proceed with ac-
quiring the easements is accordance with the provisions of P. &
S. L. 1911, C. 238 and such further procedures relating thereto
as are provided for in the General Laws of the State of Maine,
and he is further
0=11ED, to report his findings to the City Council for
further action.

tance of 344.26 feet to the point of a curve; thence

of 99.01 feet to the point of tangency; thence west-
erly on a bearing of W -810-43'-W for a distance of
203.02 feet to an angle point; thence westerly on a bear-
ing of 3-690-00'-W for a distance of 156.79 feet to the
easterly side line of Broadway; thence southerly on a
bearing of S -140-261-E by and along the easterly side
line of Broadway to the point of beginning, and the
City Engineer is further

containing bounds and ad-messurements of the street, together
with a list of damages allowed to each person for all land
taken or for any benefits resulting to the property owners
we a result of said laying out, all in accordance with the
Laws of the State of Maine.

To: The Municipal officers
Pursuant to Council Order 250-N which was tabled Oct -23,
1961 and referred to the Public orks Comcittee, the City
Engineer submits the following preliminary report: Surveys have
been completed, plans prepared and a cost estimate developed for
the construction of Lancaster Avenue extending from Broadway to
East Broadway, a distance of about 1300 feet.
The total estimated cost for this project which includes
grading, excavation, base gravel, surface gravel and surface
treatment together with the required atom drainage installation
to adequately serve this new construction amounts to forty
thousand dollars (%0,000): 50% of this total or twenty thousand
dollars (620,000) may be assessed against the property benefited
and a list of possible assessments follows:
