said Sunset Avenue. four (4) poles to be located on the westerly side thereof ever

Notice is hereby given that there is now pending before the City Council the
following order; (TITLE.) ORDER, Petition for Wire and Pole Permit - Bangor Hydro -
Electric Company. By the City Council of the City of Bangor: ORDER®. TBAT the
attached petition for wire and pole permit is hereby granted. Following are the
public streets and highways referred tot

BANGOR HYDRO -ELECTRIC COMPANY, a corporation duly organized according
to low and having its principal place of business at Bangor, County
of Penobscot, State of Maine, being duly authorized to transmit and
d4s4ibute electricity in the City of BANGOR 'Major.
herezy and in accordance with law petitions for permission to erect
and maintain poles with wires, cables and all other necessary
apparatus attached thereto by means of cross -arms or other fixtures,
together with sustaining guys or other supports, alone, over
or
across certain public roads and highways located within the afore-
said City, as follows:
Beginning at a utility pole numbered 71 jointly owned by Bangor
Hydro -Electric Company and New England Telephone and Telegraph
Company and located on the southerly side of Orion Street near
Sunset Avenue; thence proceeding southerly along said Sunset
Avenue, four (4) poles to be located on the westerly side thereof Over
a distance of approximately 780 feet; thence proceeding southerly and
westerly on said Sunset Avenue, one (1) pole to be located on the
southerly side thereof over a distance of approximately 80 feet.

Upon the Petition of Bangor Hydro -Electric Company dated Deteber 15
19 83 requesting permission, in accordance with law, to erect and maintain
poles with wires, cables, and allother necessary apparatus attached
thereto by means

of c other fixtures, together with sustaining
guys o other supports,along, over or across certain public roads and
highways in the location described in said petition, it appearing that the
11: days' public notice has been given asrequired by statute and that no
written objection has been filed during said period by residents and
owners of property upon the highways to be affected thereby, permission
is hereby given to said Bangor Hydro -Electric Company, its successors
and a , to erect and maintain poles with wires, cables and eall other
nrcea5ary apparatus attached thereto by means of c other
fixtures, together with sustaining guys o other supports, along, over Or
across certain public roads and highways in the City of navnne ,
Maine, as follows:
Beginning at a utility pole numbered 71 jointly owned by Bangor
Hydro -Electric Cmipany and New England Telephone and Telegraph
Company and located on the southerly side of Union Street near
Sweet Avenue; thence prroceeding sautherly along said Sunset Avenue
four (4) poles to be located on the westerly side thereof over a
distance of approximately 780 feet; thence proceeding southerly and
westerly on said Sweet Avenue, me (1) pole to be located on the
southerly side thereof over a distance of approximately 80 feet.
1. Poles shall D of WWO set in the ground and no part of the
wires, except guy wires, shall be less than 15 feet above the ground.
2. The poles shall be located within the bounds of the public way, but
outside of the portion thereof customarily used for travel by vehicles.
