This is technical and administrative work in the supervision, operation
and maintenance of a golf course.

Supervises all personnel working at golf course.
Supervises the keeping of all records, time cards and other reports.
Supervises collections and deposits of all fees at the golf curse.
Proposes and enforces all rules and regulations for the golf course.

both operational and maintenance.
Encourages the playing of golf in the general area served by his golf course
and is active in improving all facilities and the building and construction ofew
golf facilities as the need may cries.
Selects proper greases, chemicals, fertilizers, cleaning and other supplies
and all types of equipment best suited to performing the required reculte.
Supervises watering, mowing, and fertilizing so that the maximoun use of the
golf course shall be possible.
Re uieitions all supplies, equipment and materials.
Prepares proper records of personnel and equipment needs to supply the
information necessary for budget requests.
Supervises the greens and fairways moving, trap and rough upkeep and watering
schedule.
Germinates and teats all seeds, samples of special grass, tests chemicals
and fertilizers.
Performs related work as required.
Complete knowledge of golf rules, play and practices.
Administrative and leadership ability.
Thorough knowledge of teaching methods and techniques of golf.
Thorough knowledge of maintenance methods.
Special skill in supervising public relations program.

GOLF COME MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
MUMIT➢N.
This is skilled supervisory and tecMical work in the maintenance of a golf
course Including greens, tees, fairways, buildings and equipment.
EXAM M OF WORK PERFORMED (Any one position may not include all of the duties
listed, nor do the liated examples include all tasks which may be found in positions
of this class.)
Supervises, under the direction of the pro -greenkeeper, the maintenance of
the golf course.
SuperTlses and assists in watering, mowing, raking and fertilizing all
landscaped areae.
Maintains golf course equipment including sowers, rollers, tractors, aero -
raters, sprinkling systema, etc.
Maintains golf course buildings Including maintenance building, pro -shop, etc.
Performs related work as required.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGMI SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Technical knowledge of landscaping, greens maintenance, shrubbery maintenance,
etc.
Technical knowledge of golf course equipment maintenance.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
Hipp school graduate with at least three years' experience in landscaping,
greenskeeping or related work.

MINITION
Mork involves setting up organized swimming classes for children, supervising
staff of instructors and lifeguards, maintaining the pool and bathhouse and keeping
the filtering and chlorination equipment running properly so that the pool operation
will meet local and state health and sanitation standards.

Organizes and supervises staff workers, regulates their hours in shifts and
assigns duties.
Plans swimming classes with the help of instructora and is responsible for classes

Arranges for sufficient lifeguards to be on duty for all public swimming to ensure
safety of the users of the pool.
Is responsible far the discipline of the pool staff and the pool users.
Is responsible for tte operation of filter and chlorination equipment end any
other equipment necessary for operation of the pool.
