Regarding Mr. Abraham Shapiro's building at 193 York
Street, a permit was issued ou November 15 to restore this
structure.
An inspection on December 11 revealed that work was
coming along satisfactorily. Another inspection on December 26
was made and I found that work had slowed down considerably.
On January 5, 1 again inspected this building and found
that they had lost the front wall of this structure and due to
weather conditions, work on this structure had ceased.
Mr. Shapiro informs me that he would like to delay work
on this building until spring and that he would clean up all
debris and secure this building until such time.
I believe Mr. Shapiro or his attorney will be present
at the Council meeting on January 8 to answer any questions

In Re: Condemnation of building at 193 York Street
Regarding City Council Order #230-N, condemnation of the

that Nr. Shapiro has conveyed this property to Mr. Abraham Shapiro
