THAT yUBg , a new sub -division has been proposed for con-
struction on the westerly side of Union Street north of Interstate
Highway I-95 and has received the preliminary approval of the planning
Hoard, and
WHEREAS, a bond has been posted for the construction of a roadway
within said sub -division in accordance with Chapter VIII, Article 89
Section 1 of the Lowe and Ordinances of the City of Bangor, now
therefore, be it
0RUMD, that the City Engineer, noting for and on behalf of the
municipal officers according to law, is hereby directed to lay out by
metes and bounds and establish grades for Sunset Avenue, so-called,
extending westerly from Union Street for a distance of approximately
eight hundred (800) feet and be it further
ORDRRBD, that the City Engineer report his findings together with
said description to the City council, said report and description to
become a part of this order, and the street as described in said
report be hereby accepted as a public way.

Beginning at a point on the southwesterly sideline of Union
Street, said point being located twenty-five (25) feet northwest
from the westerly right-of-way line of Interstate Highway I-95,
and being on the centerline of the proposed street; thence month
west on a line parallel with and twenty-five (25) feet westerly
the westerly right-of-way line of I-95 a distance of three hundr
fifty-three and six -tenths (353.6) feet to a point: thence coati'.
being a curve
point
thence northwest on a line at an Interior angle of 93--Oa'-40" with
the tangent line to the curve at the last -described point, a dis-
tance of two hundred twenty-two and four hundredths (222.04) feet
to a point. The above-described line represents the oenterline of
the proposed street, whlch has bean laid out fifty (50) feet wide
measuring at right angles to the above-described line, except that
a one hundred (100) foot diameter circular turnaround area has
been provided at the southerly and of said street, the center of
said circle being the last -described point.
GRADE
Beginming at the southwesterly sideline of Union Street at
station 0 + 00, the City Engineer proceeded to lay out a grade
for the proposed street, as follows:

The above elevations refer to and were set from the datum of the
City of Bangor.
Eo person or persona appeared at the time and place set for
the meeting to object to the laying out, or to claim damages as a
result of said laying out. Since the proposed roadway is laid out
on land owned by Er. H. Rankin Grant, and Inasmuch as Er. Grant has
petitioned for the acceptance of said street; no damages are recom-
mended.
It to recommended that the street as described above be accepted
as a public way, to be named and known as Sunset Avenue.
An accurate plan accompanies this report.
