IN RE: City Council Order 208-0
A chane from "Agricultural Zone" to "General Business
Zone , a portion of land on the east side of Hogan Road
between Stillwater Avenue and Interstate Route 95
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the Planning Board has held a public
hearing and given careful consideration to the above matter, and
would respectfully recommendthe City Council's approval.
The Hogan Road Interchange Is the only full interchange that
has not developed, and still has a major portion of open land. There
Is sufficient land here 10 have a commercial development with proper
controls.
It Is expected that a truck terminal will be developed on the
major portion of this land. The Board feels that MIs is an excellent
site for such e use as the heavy truck fraff lc could then have of recf
access to the Interstate Highway. Further, this cm rc tel development
would be oriented toward the Interchange, and wouldnot be detrimental
to any possible residential growth.
