TO: The Honorable City Council
IN RE: City Council Order 20B -M Change from Open Development
Zone to Standard Industry Zones a portion of land at
the southeast corner of Mount Hope Avenue and Hogan
Road
Sire:
Please be advised that the Planning Board has given
careful consideration to the above request and would respect-
fully recommend that the application be refused for the
following reasons:
I. Sextlon XI of the Zoning Ordinance specifically
enable the Zoning Board of Appeals to deal with
this matter and after explanation to the State
Highway Departments they felt that such an
application would be quite satisfactory.
2. The Board proposed to carry out a detailed study
of the Hogan Road -Interstate Highway area with
the Idea in mind of delineating possible industrial
areas and the land use.
Respectfully submitted,
