FROM: Planning Board
IN RE: City Council Order 204-0 --
Change from Residence "C" Zone to General Business Zone
four 141 lots of land on the north side of Main Street
from Dillingham Street and Thatcher Street
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the Planning Board has held a public
hearing, and given careful consideration to the above matter. The
Board would respectfully recommend the City Council is approval.
There is a General Business Zone on the west side of DIII-
ingham Street, and directly across the street from the proposed
rezoning is a large service station in a "Standard Industry" Zone.
It is the opinion of the Planning Board that the rezoning
of these four 141 lots to General Business would not be detrimental
to the surrounding neighborhood.
Respectfully submitted,
Walter A. G. Spook
Planning Director
