That Chapter X, Article 5, Bections 1.6 and 1.i of the Laws and Ordinanaee
—of the City of Bangor, Maine be and is hereby repealed and replaced with the
following new sections:
Section 1.6 Heat£ngEguipment. Every dwelling wit shall have central heat
generating equipment properly installed
and capable of safely heating all rooms except those used
exclusively for sleeping purposes to a temperature of at
least 70 degrees Fahrenheit measured at a distance of 36
inches above the floor level, under ordinary minimum winter
conditions. Me requirements of this paragraph shall not
apply to dwelling units used solely for se mal occupancy
during the months of March through October.
Section 1.7 Requirements for Venting. Each dwelling unit shall be
provided with one o

approvedequal arrangement to vent satisfactorily and
safely say heating unit.
