Note: This project is for the reconstruction of sections of Griffin Road, Ohio Street and Davis Road having a total distance of approximately two and one-half miles. IInt�ra/dou'aed and �ftl by C%:+N�/at:' a+iGe'.T:A�:.'y7�ailven Bangor R -A 12(1) SPECIAL PROVISIONS CONSTRUCTION AREA A Construction Area, located in the city of Bangor, has been established by the Moine State Highway Commission in accordance with the provisions of Section 98, Chapter 22, Revised Statutes of 1954. Me area is described as fellows: (a) the section of highway under construction from Sta. 0+25 to Sta. 110+60 of the new construction centerline. (b) Griffin Road, Ohio Street, and Davis Road from Sta. 0+25 to Sta. 1Lo+60 of the new construction centerline. The State Highway Commission or the State's Engineer and, issue permits for stated periods of time for moving construction equipment without loads, low -bed trailers wltl: overloads, over -height, o er-width Cr r -length equipment or materials, over all sections described in the "Construction Area" above, and in addition may issue permits for stated periods of time for moving over -weight vehicles and loads over the section described in (a) above. Me right to revoke each a permit at any time is reserved by the State Highway CCmrission and the issuance of such permits ahall be subject to any Special Provisions or Supplemental Specifications written for this project. The Municipal Officers of the city of Saeger have agreed that they will issue per- mits for transportation of heavy construction equipment in excess Of the legal weight, height, width or lex:gth limits over such town ways as may be necessary for the prosecution of this Contract. In the event it is necessary to transport gravel, borrow, or other construction material in legally registered vehicles carrying legal loads over town ways, a Contractor's Bond of not more than Five Thouaand Dollars ($5,000.00) per ails of traveled length, will be required by the Town, the exact amount of said bond to be determined prior to use of any Lawn way. The maximums speed limits for trucks on any tam way will be Twenty-five (25) miles per hour, unless a higher legal limit is specifically agreed upon, in writing, by the Municipal Officers concerned. There will be no major relocations of the above deacrlbed highways due to the new construction.
