WCity,Goueai! of the City of Beeper: THAT the the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the municipal officers of the City of Burger, is hereby directed to lay out portions of land between Thatcher Street and the Odlin Road as public ways all within the corporate limits of Bangor in accordance with a petition now on file with the municipal officers and be it further ORDERED, that the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of said municipal officers, proceed to give written notice of such intentions of said municipal officers by posting notices for seven days in two public places in the City of Bangor and in the vicinity of the uroposed way mora fully described as follows: Beginning at a point on Perry Road which is 270 feet south- westerly from the westerly side line of Thatcher Street, and at the terminus of the portion of Perry Road laid out and accepted Deorber 144 1959; thence proceeding southwesterly on a bearing of S33 -421-59 W for a distance of 32/.39 feet to a point; thence westerly on a bearing of S 790-281-13" W for a distance of about 1700 feet to the westerly side line of property owned by Lydia Godsoe. Notice is hereby given to all persona interested in the premises to appear at the above men- tioned time and place of meeting, if ihey see rause then and there to be heard upon due subject l///// fgb Engineer� Description of Layout Beginning at a point on the center line of Perry Road, which point 1s 270 feet southwesterly from the westerly side line of Thatcher Street and at the terminue of the portion of Perry Road laid out and accepted as a public way December 14, 1959; thence proceeding southwesterly on a bearing of S 330-42'-59" w for a distance of 327.39 feet to an angle point; thence westerly on a bearing of S 790-28T-13" W to the westerly aide line of property owned by Lydia Oodsoe, a distance of 1700 feet. The above described line refers to the center line of Perry Road and the road was laid out 75 feet wide measuring 37.5 feet each way at right angles from the said center line. Also a second portion of Perry Road described as follows: Beginning at a point on the southerly side line of Od11n Road, said point being 108.02 feet easterly Prom the easterly right- of-way line of the Maine Central Railroad measured by and along the southerly side line of Od11n Road; thence southerly on a bear- ing of s 580-34'-47" E for a distance of 442.34 feet to a point; thence southerly on a bearing of S 490-53'-47" E for a distance of 784.25 feet to the southerly side line of Sewall Road as proposed; thence westerly at right angles to the last described line to the easterly side line of Maine Central Railroad right. of -way, a distance of about 85 feet; thence northerly by and along the easterly right-of-way line of the Main Central Rail- road to the southerly aide line of the Od11n Road, a distance of about 1225 feet; thence easterly by and along the southerly Side line of the Odlin Road for a distance of 108.02 feet and the point of beginning. The City Engineer hes laid out said porticos of the new road over the same courses and within the same bounds as shown on City of Bangor Plan 88-645 which shows the street layout in the Industrial Park Area. This street pattern was recommended by the Planning Board and approved by the City Council for addition to the official map by Council Order k92-% passed April 14, 1958. No person or pasona appeared at the tim and place for the meeting to object to or to claim damages by reason of said laying out. The City hcgineer racommende that the above described portions of the roadway be accepted end established as public wave and that the sections be named and (mown as Perry Road.
