This is technical abmdnistrative and research work in the rehabilitation
of existing buildings in an urban renewal area, and in the assembling aM
analysing of social, econosic and other data for urban renewal activities.
An eMloyee in this class is responsible for the rehabilitation of
buildings retaining in the urban renewal project Areas. The work involves the
review and deteradnation of the owner's pt{vsical and financial ability to
carry out the necessary rehabilitation work. Work involves the exercise o£
Independent judgment in developing plain for the rehabilitation of the
building and determining the methods of financing the coat n£ such work.
Supervision may be exercised over a few technical assistants.

Develops plana and coat estimateS for rehabilitation of building.
Assists owner in receiving home myrovenent loan.
Maintains office records.

Negotiates rehabilitation contract from owner for Urban Renewal Authority.

Some knowledge of building and construction techniques.
Knowledge of Nome Improvement Loan procedures.
Ekceptionsl ability to deal courteously and fairly with the public.

Some responsible experiace in urban renevval.
