Stillwater Ave. Sewer Introduced and riled by .. +`(...in M CITY OF BANGOR, MAINE Engineering Department June 21, 1962 To: The Municipal Officers Pursuant to City Council Order #124-P, passed April 230 19629 directing the City Engineer to prepare plane and cost estimates together with a list of possible assessments for a new sewer to serve a part of Stillwater Avenue near the Interstate Highway, the following report is submitted: The proposed new installation will start at the existing sewer under the Interstate Highway westerly from the Stillwater Avenue crossing; thence proceeding easterly along the northerly side of the Interstate Highway right-of-way about 900 feet; thence northeasterly across private property 1350 feet and terminating on the land of Earl H, and Clifford E. Bailey. Me proposed con- struction will require 20 feet of 24" reinforced concrete pipe, 1600 feet of 12" vitrified clay pipe, 650 feet of 8" vitrified clay pipe antelght new manhole ventilators. The total estimated coat amounts to twenty-seven thousand two hundred dollars ($27,200) of which amount 75,$, or twenty thousand four hundred dollars ($20,400): may be assessed against the property benefited.
