That Chapter III, Article 6, Section 4 be amended by striking out the entire Subsection 4.8, Meter Zones Established and replacing it with a new Sub- section 4.8 as follows: 4.8 Meter Zones Established. There shall be five meter zones for on -street parking which shall be designated as follows: 4.8.1 Five Hour Meter Zones. Parking in this zone for more than five hours during the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. except on Sundays and holidays is hereby prohibited. A fee of 10c for five hours is hereby designated for this zone and meters installed therein shall be designated to accomodate 10Q come only. 4.8.2 Two Hour Meter Zones. Parking in this zone for more than two hours during the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. except on Suadays and holidays is hereby prohibited. A fee of five ceche for one hour or ten cents for two hours is hereby designated for this zone and meters installed therein shall be designated to acc modate peonies, five cent corns or ten cent corns. 4.8.3 One Hour Meter Zones - Five Cents Per How. Parking in this zone for more than one hour during the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. dept on Sundays and holidays is hereby prohibited. This ordinate was then engrossed, and then failed its 3rd and final reading by the fallowing yes and no vote: IN CITY COUNCIL July 22, 1963 This ordinance reconsidered and amended by deleting the contents of 4.8.4 and calling this sub -section "Reserved"; amended 4.8.5 frad'six minutes"to"twelve minutes". This ordinance having received two readings on separate dates, and having been properly certified as correctly engrossed, was finally PASSED by the following yea and no vote: Councilors voting yes Brountas, Conti, Delano, Dinsmore, Gross, Ranlett. Councilors voting no: Higgins. Councilors Bailey and Barry absent. 4.9.4 One Hour Meter Zama - Ten Cents Per Hour. Parkingm this zone for more than one hour during the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. except an Sundays and holidays is hereby prohibited. A fee of five cents for one half hour and ten cents per hour is hereby designated for Hein zone and meters installed therein shall be designated to accomodate pennies, five cent coins and ten cent coins. 4.8.5 Twelve Minute Meter Zone. Panting in this zone for more than twelve minutes during the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m, except on Sundays and holidays is hereby prohibited. A fee m' am cent for six minutes he hereby designated for this zone and metope therein installed shall be designated to accomodate pennies. 4.8.6 Designation of Metered Zone. The streets or portions of streets to be included in each one shall be designated by the City Manager and approved by order of the City Council. The City Clerk shall maintain at all times a record of the areae included in each meter zone.
