WHEREAS, vers. Lillian Watson, policewoman of the Bangor Police Department,
will attain the age of 65 years this August, 19611 and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Watson has been in this position with 1E years of faithful
and energetic service{ and
WHEREAS, Chap. 92, P. S S. L. of 1933, denotes that members of the Police
Department, specifying patrolman, policeman, etc., shall retire at age of 651 and
WHEREAS, this chapt6r does not refer to polieewomar, having been written
in 1933 before this office was established] and
WHEREAS, Mrs. Watson is physically fitl
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, ihat'.ks. Watson be retained in her present
position for two years, until she attains her 20 years of active service.
