Delano, Chiirman and Members of Bangor City Council Dear Sirs: Darlingta is in the process of erecting a new building at the corner of Pine and York Streets in Bangor, with customer parking on tte premises. The architect planned the driveway to serve five auto- mobiles and this requires a 49 -foot width, i.e., driveway, on York Street, whereas, the City Ordinance permits a 36 -Foot driveway only. Therefore, it is respectfully requested that authority be given us to construct our driveway 49 feet in width on York Street in accordance with the plan herewith submitted. Be it ordained by the City Coancil of the City of Banger, as follows: Soo. 1. No person shall build or construct a driveway providing cote: to a street without first obtaining a permit from the City Engineer. Sac. 2. Application for said permit shallb a submitted in such form as the City Engineer may prescribe. Sec. 3. All construction work on such driveways within the street line shall be done by the property owner or occupant at his one ex - same in conformity with proper standards and worlaenahle as prescrib- ed by the City Engineer.
