M RE: City Council Order 150.H
Change from Park and institutional Zone to General Business Zone,
a lot of 1" at the northeast comer of Button and Hain Streets.
are:
The City Planning Board hoe held a public hearing and given careful coo-
sideration to the above City Council Order, and would respectfully reassured to
City Council tlrat the application be refused because of the following reaeom:
1. The property should be added to the lend of gees Park to square
off the park seen and to provide a more pleating appearance and
view of the park and buildings from Hain Street.
2. Met ems of the property should be owned to improve traffic
now at Dutton and Main streets.
3. net if this Property were re oned to a General Business Zone
and a new building constructed thereon, it would be almost
Economically impossible to acquire the property at a later date.
Respectfully sulmitted,
